Allahshukur Pashazada: Inter-sectarian harmony in Azerbaijan is global model

Azerbaijan is recognized globally not only for its interfaith dialogue but also as a model of intra-Islamic understanding, according to Sheikhulislam Allahshukur Pashazada, Chairman of the Caucasus Muslimschr("39") Board (CMB), Olaylar informs.

He made this insight during a joint meeting dedicated to the 5th anniversary of the Day of Remembrance, organized by the CMB and religious communities.

Pashazada noted that at a recent event in Bahrain focused on challenges facing intra-Islamic dialogue and ways to overcome them, independent Azerbaijan was presented as a rare example of inter-sectarian harmony and brotherhood-a model for the world: "This is yet another successful outcome of the policy pursued by the head of the state of Azerbaijan. Azerbaijanchr("39")s power is unshakable and our victories will continue as long as there is a wise statesmanship line."

"Today, Khankandi is on the global agenda as a venue for Azerbaijanchr("39")s international summits. A memorial to the victims of the Khojaly genocide is being erected, and the Victory Arch in Baku symbolizes our proud triumph. This is the triumph of divine justice. Religious leaders and believers across Azerbaijan consistently support President Ilham Aliyevchr("39")s wise domestic and foreign policy and his victorious political course," Pashazada added.
