Jeyhun Bayramov discusses Azerbaijan-EU relations with Spanish Foreign Minister

Azerbaijan's Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov held discussions with Spain's Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union, and Cooperation, José Manuel Albares Bueno, on Azerbaijan-European Union (EU) relations.

The Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs told that the Olaylar Spanish Foreign Minister conveyed his congratulations on the achievements in the Azerbaijan-Armenia normalization process during the Summit held within the framework of the Azerbaijani President's visit to the United States.

During the phone conversation, the current state and future prospects of Azerbaijan-Spain and Azerbaijan-EU relations were also discussed. The importance of cooperation in the fields of economy and trade, energy, tourism, humanitarian affairs, and education was emphasized. Spain's Prime Minister's visit to Azerbaijan within the framework of COP29 was recalled with satisfaction.

The phone call also included an exchange of views on regional issues of mutual interest.
