Bozumbayev: Final report on AZAL plane crash to be ready in few months

 

The final report on the crash of the Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) plane near Aktau will be ready in a few months, Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Kanat Bozumbayev said, Olaylar informs referring to Kazakh media.

"The analysis stage is being completed, the stage is preparing the final report. In a few months, there will be a final report on the investigation of the plane crash near Aktau," he noted.

AZAL passenger plane flying from Baku to Grozny crashed on December 25 near the city of Aktau in Kazakhstan. Of the 67 people on board, 38 died and 29 survived.

According to preliminary data, the plane crashed as a result of physical and technical external interference that occurred in Russian airspace over Grozny.
