Today, July 22, marks the 150th anniversary of Əkinçi, the first Azerbaijani-language newspaper, launched in 1875 by Hasan bey Zardabi. Widely regarded as the cornerstone of Azerbaijani journalism, this publication played a crucial role in the national enlightenment movement.
