Court hearing underway on criminal case of persons of Armenian origin accused of committing war crimes

 

A court hearing is being held on the criminal case of persons of Armenian origin accused of committing war crimes.

The trial held at the Baku Court Complex is presided by the judge of the Baku Military Court, Zeynal Aghayev.

The victims testified in the previous trial.

The persons of Armenian origin are accused of crimes against peace and humanity, war crimes, including waging an aggressive war, genocide, forced displacement of the population, persecution, torture, looting and other illegal acts committed against Azerbaijan and its people by the Armenian state and its armed forces, including the so-called Nagorno-Karabakh Republic established by Armenia in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan, and its illegal armed formations.
