Asadov: Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan exploring several promising projects
10 İyun 17:12 EnAzerbaijan and Uzbekistan are considering a range of promising projects across various sectors, Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov said at the 4th Tashkent International Investment Forum, Olaylar informs.
"We are working effectively through the Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan Investment Company, which has a charter capital of $500 million. A number of promising projects in various areas are currently under consideration," Asadov noted.
He also highlighted alternative energy as another promising area of cooperation: "Azerbaijan has an ambitious agenda in this field. Several major projects are already being implemented in collaboration with leading global companies."
Asadov added that Azerbaijan is actively developing as a supplier of green energy to Europe.
"Today, together with Georgia, Romania, and Hungary, we are working on a project to create a green energy corridor across the Black Sea to Europe. In addition, during COP29, the presidents of Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, and Kazakhstan signed an agreement opening wide opportunities for exporting green energy to Europe via the Caspian Sea-Black Sea route," the Prime Minister emphasized.
