Turkish, Georgian religious figures to visit Azerbaijan
29 May 11:06 EnA delegation of religious figures from Türkiye and Georgia will visit Azerbaijan on May 29, Olaylar informs, citing the State Committee on Work with Religious Institutions of Azerbaijan.
The visit aims to further strengthen religious-spiritual connections, unity and solidarity bonds with Azerbaijanis living abroad.
During the visit organized by the State Committee and the Foundation for Promotion of Moral Values operating under its authority, the delegation will visit the Azerbaijan Institute of Theology, the Alley of Honor, Martyrschr("39") Alley, Victory Park, and the Turkish Martyrschr("39") Monument.
Besides, the visitors will also become familiar with the activities of places of worship located in Baku.
Additionally, the Georgian and Turkish religious figures are also set to visit Azerbaijan's liberated territories.
During the trip, members of the delegation are expected to visit the Juma Mosque and Aghdam Imarat Complex located in the Aghdam district, as well as Yukhari Govharagha, Ashaghi Govharagha, Saatli, and Mamayi mosques and other historical monuments in Shusha.
The visit, which will be attended by more than 30 Azerbaijani religious figures, will last until June 2.
