India doesn't want normalization of relations with Pakistan

India is unwilling to normalize relations with Pakistan, Olaylar informs via The Times of India, citing Deputy Minister of External Affairs of India Vikram Misri.

Misri spoke at a closed meeting of the parliamentary committee on foreign affairs.

Normal relations with Pakistan are excluded in the near future, the newspaper quotes the deputy minister as saying.

Misri also said that US President Donald Trump didnchr("39")t mediate a ceasefire between India and Pakistan, indicating that the truce was achieved thanks to negotiations between the directors general of military operations of the two countries.

Relations between India and Pakistan worsened in late April. In early May, India attacked civilian and military targets in Pakistan. Pakistan took retaliatory measures. On May 10, Trump announced that India and Pakistan had agreed to a ceasefire.
