Peskov: Russian president held meeting to prepare for negotiations with Ukraine

Russian President Vladimir Putin held a meeting on Wednesday evening to prepare for negotiations with Ukraine, the presidentchr("39")s spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said, Olaylar informs via Russian media.

"Ahead of our delegationchr("39")s departure to Istanbul, President Putin held a meeting yesterday evening to prepare for the upcoming negotiations with the Ukrainian side," he said.

According to him, in addition to members of the negotiating group, Lavrov, Belousov, Zolotov, Shoigu, Gerasimov and Bortnikov, as well as commanders of troop groups, participated in the meeting.

The Russian delegation at the negotiations in Istanbul is headed by presidential aide Vladimir Medinsky.
