Bayramov: Meeting of MFA representatives in Tbilisi - confirmation of new realities in region

Meeting of Deputy Foreign Ministers of the three South Caucasus countries in Tbilisi is the confirmation of new realities in the region, Azerbaijanchr("39")s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said at a joint conference with his Slovenian counterpart Tanja Fajon in Baku, Olaylar informs.

Bayramov recalled that in general, the end of the 30-year occupation initiated new processes in the South Caucasus region, creating new opportunities for interaction.

"For example, parallel to our meeting today with the Foreign Minister of Slovenia in Baku, a meeting of Deputy Foreign Ministers of the three South Caucasus countries - Azerbaijan, Georgia and Armenia - is currently taking place in Tbilisi. The agenda includes regional issues that concern our three countries. This confirms that a new reality has formed in the region. Despite the existence of unresolved issues between Azerbaijan and Armenia, the countries can discuss issues that concern our region - the South Caucasus," said Bayramov.
