Bayramov: Azerbaijan, Slovenia discussed peace process in South Caucasus in Baku
17 Aprel 13:53 EnAzerbaijan and Slovenia discussed the peace process in the South Caucasus and the post-conflict situation in the region after the liberation of Azerbaijani territories from Armenian occupation in Baku, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said at a joint press conference with his Slovenian counterpart Tanja Fajon following the talks in Baku, Olaylar informs.
According to Bayramov, the main focus was on the issue of a peace treaty between Baku and Yerevan, the text of which was agreed upon in March of this year.
Bayramov recalled that Azerbaijan put forward legitimate demands for signing the final peace with Armenia - amendments to the Constitution of this country regarding territorial claims against Azerbaijan and the dissolution of the OSCE Minsk Group.
The Slovenian minister was informed about the process of delimitation of the border with Armenia, Bayramov said and noted the importance of ensuring direct transport links between the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and other territories of the country.
