Mirzoyan: Armenia never been so close to Türkiye, Azerbaijan

Armenia has never been so close to Türkiye and Azerbaijan, Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan said in an interview with the Turkish NTV television company, answering the question of whether now is the right time to establish peace, sign an agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan, and normalize relations between Türkiye and Armenia, Olaylar informs via Armenian media.

"I cannot say that now is the right time. There may not be such an ideal moment. But I can say with confidence, and I think my Turkish and Azerbaijani colleagues will confirm this, that we have never been so close to each other. Perhaps now is not the right time, perhaps it will never be, but if we honestly assess where we are now, we can say that we have never been so close to peace and stability," Mirzoyan noted.
