Over 900 hectares cleared of mines and ammunition in Karabakh and Eastern Zangazur within a week

In the liberated territories of Azerbaijan, 51 anti-tank mines, 122 anti-personnel mines, and 306 unexploded ordnance (UXO) were discovered and neutralized from February 10 to 16.

According to Olaylar, this information is contained in the weekly report of the Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) on humanitarian demining operations in the liberated territories.

According to the information, an area of 935.6 hectares was cleared of mines during the week.

Demining operations were carried out by ANAMA, Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES), State Border Service (SBS), and four private companies in Tartar, Aghdara, Kalbajar, Aghdam, Khojaly, Khankandi, Shusha, Khojavand, Lachin, Fuzuli, Jabrayil, Gubadli, and Zangilan.
