Baku hosts conference on Water and Gender Equality

The conference "Water and Gender Equality" is being held under the joint organization of the State Committee for Family, Women, and Children Affairs of Azerbaijan, the State Water Resources Agency, and ADA University on the occasion of COP29, Olaylar reports via Trend.

According to the information, the conference includes a panel session with the participation of representatives of state structures, international organizations, members of the Azerbaijani Parliament, public representatives, and students.

The panel session discusses the impact of climate change on womenchr("39")s lives, their role in the protection and management of water resources, motivation to choose specialties in this field, as well as ensuring gender balance in staff appointments.
