Community calls for global support for return of Azerbaijanis displaced from Armenia

The Western Azerbaijan Community (WCA) has called upon all nations to support the return of Azerbaijanis expelled from Armenia to their rightful homes. In a statement released on the first anniversary of Azerbaijanchr("39")s anti-terrorist operations in the Karabakh region, the WCA emphasized the importance of this decisive action in ending the injustice that persisted for over three decades.

The WCA stated, "This resolute step ensured the supremacy of international law, concluding Armeniachr("39")s prolonged encroachment on Azerbaijanchr("39")s territorial integrity and sovereignty." The organization highlighted that Azerbaijanchr("39")s actions not only served its national interests but also upheld the principles of international justice.

However, the WCA expressed concern over attempts by certain external forces to portray these achievements negatively and provoke new tensions. "We demand that they respect the norms of international law and not hinder sustainable peace in the region," the statement read.
