Tragedy strikes in Lachin district, claiming lives of several Azerbaijani military

Four servicemen of the Azerbaijani Army have tragically died in the Lachin district, a source in the Ministry of Defense told Olaylar.

According to the preliminary version, the servicemen died on July 30 while off duty, poisoned while swimming in sulfurous, carbonated thermal waters.

"The discovery of the corpses of Azerbaijani Army servicemen, including captain Asif Emnaliyev, warrant officer Farid Jabrayilov, and sergeants Tural Samadov and Emin Shahmarli, has been verified.

The Ministry of Defensechr("39")s leadership extends its sincerest condolences to the deceased servicemenchr("39")s families and associates," the source added.
