Azerbaijan assumes TURKPA chairmanship from Türkiye

The chairmanship of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic States (TURKPA) has passed from Türkiye to Azerbaijan, Olaylar informs.

The decision was made at the 13th meeting of the TURKPA Council in Baku.

The Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye, Numan Kurtulmuş, handed over the chairmanship to his Azerbaijani counterpart Sahiba Gafarova.
