Ilham Aliyev invites Charles Michel to COP29

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev invited the European Council President Charles Michel to COP29 in Baku, Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Belgium and Luxembourg, head of the mission to the European Union (EU) Vagif Sadigov said.

In his post on the social network X the diplomat noted that he had a meeting with Magdalena Grono, Senior Foreign Policy Advisor of the President of the European Council.

"I am grateful to Ms. Magdalena Grono, Senior Foreign Policy Advisor of the President of the European Council, for todaychr("39")s comprehensive discussion of many issues on EU-Azerbaijan agenda, during which I had the honour to transmit the invitation letter of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev to EU President Charles Michel to attend COP29 in November in Baku," Sadigov said.
