Mirzoyan: EU mission in Armenia vital for Yerevan

The EU Observation Mission in Armenia is of vital importance for Yerevan, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan said during a joint press conference with his Greek counterpart Giorgos Gerapetritis in Yerevan, Olaylar informs via Armenian media.

"The civilian mission of the European Union is very important for us, vital from a security point of view. We welcomed the EUchr("39")s decision to expand this mission," Mirzoyan noted.

Earlier, the EU foreign ministers decided to increase the number of observers in Armenia from 138 to 209.
