NAP officially names Ilham Aliyev as candidate for upcoming presidential election

Ilham Aliyev has been officially put forth as a candidate for the early presidential elections by the New Azerbaijan Party, Olaylar reports.

The decision on this was made at todaychr("39")s extended meeting of the New Azerbaijan Party leadership.

On December 7, President Ilham Aliyev issued a decree declaring early presidential elections in Azerbaijan, slated to be held on February 7, 2024.
