Press Council: Campaign against Azerbaijani journalists in French media unacceptable

The Azerbaijan Press Council issued a statement condemning the campaign against Azerbaijani journalists in the French media, Olaylar informs.

The statement stressed that it is unacceptable to conduct a campaign against Azerbaijani journalists in the French media:

"The smear campaign against the employees of the Azerbaijan State News Agency (AZERTAC) in the French media is poor behavior against all ethical rules and values. This unacceptable approach is nothing more than a failed attempt to justify the restriction of freedom of speech."
