78.5% of respondents in Azerbaijan support peace treaty with Armenia

Some 78.5% of respondents in Azerbaijan support a peace treaty with Armenia, according to a public opinion poll conducted by the Center for Social Research, Olaylar informs.

This is while 20.2% do not support the peace treaty and 1.3% found it difficult to answer.

Support for the signing of the peace treaty was expressed by 74.1% of people with secondary education and 86.9% of people with higher education.

The survey was conducted from November 25 to 28, 2023 among 390 respondents over 18 years of age. It covered 12 economic regions, with the exception of Nakhchivan and East Zangazur economic regions.
