Cahit Bagci: We call on international organizations to support Azerbaijan in combating landmine problem

"We call on international organizations to support Azerbaijan in combating the landmine problem," Ambassador of Türkiye to Azerbaijan, Cahit Bagci, said at the public hearing held on November 4 at the parliament themed "Tackling the Threat of Landmines: The Impact of Explosives on the Ecosystem," Olaylar informs.

According to the ambassador, Türkiye has been fighting the terrorist organization for 40 years: "In this regard, Türkiye is quite experienced in both the fight against terrorism and mine clearance."

Bagci emphasized that after the 44-day Patriotic War, Türkiye has been supporting Azerbaijan in demining, and this support will continue until the last mine is cleared: "We call on all international organizations working on this matter to support Azerbaijan."
