Goal of Armenia is to increase tension in region - MFA

The goal of Armenia and the so-called regime it created is to increase tension in the region, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan sai in a statement about the death of civilians and employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs as a result of mine terrorism in the Khojavand district, Olaylar informs.

"The mine explosion in the territory of the Khojavand district once again shows that the main goal of Armenia, which has not yet withdrawn the armed forces from the territory of Azerbaijan in gross violation of paragraph 4 of the tripartite declaration, and the so-called regime it created, is to increase military tension in the region and be engaged in terrorism. At the same time, these provocations aim to prevent the large-scale reconstruction works carried out in the post-conflict period, the civilian population operating in these areas, as well as the return of internally displaced persons and their peaceful living in their places," MFA said.
