Gunay Afandiyeva met with the Chairman of the National Commission on the State Language and Language Policy under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Kanybek Osmonaliev

President of the International Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation Gunay Afandiyeva met with the Chairman of the National Commission on the State Language and Language Policy under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Kanybek Osmonaliev.Gunay Afandiyeva noted that the International Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation carries out diverse activities to protect, restore and promote the common Turkic heritage.  In turn, Kanybek Osmonaliev informed about the measures taken in the country to improve the language policy, as well as to increase the role of the state language in the revival and development of the spiritual values ​​of the Kyrgyz people.

The parties expressed a unanimous opinion on the importance of comprehensive support for the Turkic languages, as a cultural code and heritage of the ancient Turkic peoples, and additionally discussed promising opportunities for cooperation.

The meeting was attended by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Azerbaijan Kairat Osmonaliev, Deputy Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States Yerzhan Mukash, Director of the State Institution "Kyrgyztest" Batma Topoeva-Stavinskaya.
