In Zanjan protests Iranian government forces killed two young people

Two young people were shot dead by Iranian government forces during protests in the city of Zanjan in southern Azerbaijan, GunAztv said, Olaylar informs.

Mehdi Musavi and Mehrdad Gurbani participated in the protest against the murder of Mahsa Amin on the evening of September 21 in the city of Zanjan. The demonstration was violently dispersed by the government forces. As noted, the protesters were shot with firearms.

According to the information, although different figures have been reported regarding the shooting and killing of a large number of people during the recent protests, the identity of 36 people killed by the government forces has been confirmed so far. Human rights organizations say the death toll is likely to rise due to many severely injured people.
