Azerbaijani ANAMA talks results of mine-clearing work

Over 15,000 mines were found and neutralized from November 10, 2020 [when the second Karabakh war ended] through April 2022 in Azerbaijani territories liberated from Armenian occupation, Olaylar reports via Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA).

According to the agency, in particular, 11,009 antipersonnel and 5,444 anti-tank mines, as well as 15,020 unexploded ordnances were found and neutralized in Tartar, Aghdam, Fuzuli, Shusha, Gubadli, Jabrayil, and Zangilan districts.

Totally, a 9,568-hectare-area was cleared of mines and unexploded ordnances in the liberated territories added to the agency.
