Jeyhun Bayramov about friendly relations between Azerbaijan and Georgia

Azerbaijan highly appreciates the first official visit of Ilia Darchiashvili to Azerbaijan after his appointment as Foreign Minister of Georgia, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said on April 27 at a joint briefing with Darchiashvili in Baku.

According to Bayramov, the Azerbaijani side assesses the visit of the Georgian foreign minister to Baku as a clear example of a strategic partnership between the two countries.

The Azerbaijani diplomat noted that Azerbaijan and Georgia historically have strong friendly relations.

"Azerbaijan and Georgia are conducting a policy of good neighborliness and cooperation, and their relations are developing in many areas. Both countries support each otherchr("39")s territorial integrity," he stressed.
