AQTA to prepare public register of dangerous foods

"The law chr("39")On food safetychr("39") addresses the issue of tracking dangerous foods. Relevant rules will be applied after the adoption of the law," Chairman of the Azerbaijani Food Safety Agency (AQTA), Goshgar Tahmazli, said.

According to Tahmazli, issues related to food fortification will also be reflected in the law: "It is necessary to pay serious attention to the labeling of food products."

The chairman of AQTA said that the register of unsafe foods will be open to consumers: "Thus, consumers will know which foods are dangerous."
