"Ilham Aliyev's successful social policy improves people's living standards" - party's chairman

Since 2003 the social policy have been successfully implementing in the country and in last four years has entered in a new phase. This policy, which is being improved year by year and covers the entire population of the country, has clearly manifested itself in the daily life and lifestyle of Azerbaijani citizens.

The annual increase in salaries and pensions, social benefits have now substantially strengthened the social protection of our citizens. The chairman of Nizami district branch of the New Azerbaijan Party Ramil Valibeyov, is of the same opinion.

He said that the radical social reforms, decrees and orders signed on the instructions of President Ilham Aliyev, who was re-elected in April 2018 with great confidence of the Azerbaijani people, have made significant progress in the country social development over the past four years. The minimum wage increased by 2.3 times, the average monthly salary by about 40 percent, the median salary by 74 percent. The minimum pension increased by 2.2 times and the average monthly pension by 65 percent. Benefits and pensions for vulnerable groups increased by an average of 2.5-3 times. In particular, by decrees and orders signed by President Ilham Aliyev, 3 social reform packages covering half of the countrychr("39")s population which have been implementing after 2018, and the annual financial value of these packages is costs 6.5 billion manat. All this proves once again that the citizen of Azerbaijan is at the center of President Ilham Aliyevs policy."

Ramil Valibeyov said that as a result of reforms carried out in accordance with the successful socio-economic policy of Azerbaijani President, the number of labor contracts over the past four years has increased by 30 percent, the annual salary fund more than doubled and 11.1 percent in the first quarter of 2022.

"Improving the welfare of the countrychr("39")s population is one of the important priorities of socio-economic policy," Ramil Valibeyov said.

"Apparently, the social measures taken over the past four years have once again come true at the high level after Ilham Aliyevchr("39")s speech at the inauguration ceremony. The citizens of the country are also confident that the successful social policy of President Ilham Aliyev, which provides significant social progress, will achieve new achievements in the future and will further improve the living standards of the people," he added.
