"Putin must face strictest conditions" - Polish President

"Negotiations with Russia will not help end the war," Polish President Andrzej Duda said in an interview with CNN.

"Dialogue with Russia is senseless. The strictest conditions must be set for President Vladimir Putin. We will fully support Ukraine. The sanctions regime will continue. Continuing the dialogue in vain stands for gaining time for Russia," he said.

The president also demanded the demolition of the Russian section of the North Stream-2 gas pipeline. According to Duda, the pressure on the Kremlin should be stepped up.
