Gafarova clarifies essence of her debate with Armenian Parliament Speaker

"At the event dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the CIS Parliamentary Assembly in Kazakhstan, the Armenian delegation claimed that it was they who offered us peace," Speaker of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova said at parliamentary session.

"That claim was impossible to ignore. Therefore, I often asked to give me the floor to answer the statements of the Armenians," she said.

"I clarified that it was we who made the peace proposal. And this time, as always, the Armenians tried to present false information. But they did not succeed," Gafarova said.
