Azerbaijani MFA makes statement

The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry has made a statement in connection with the so-called "parliamentary election" in the Abkhaz region of Georgia, Olaylar reports via the ministry.

In the statement, the ministry reaffirmed its support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Georgia and expressed non-recognition of the "parliamentary election" held on March 12, 2022, as well as its "results".

Besides, the ministry considered important to continue negotiations for a peaceful solution to the Abkhazian issue in accordance with the norms and principles of international law.
