Armenia fired at Azerbaijan's military positions - ministry

Azerbaijani armychr("39")s positions underwent fire from illegal Armenian armed groups in the direction of Khidirli and Chukhurmekhla settlements in Aghdam district of Azerbaijan's territory, in which the Russian peacekeepers are temporarily stationed, as well as the Azerbaijani military unit also underwent fire on March 6 at 08:40 (GMT+4), Olaylar reports referring to the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry.

The units of the Azerbaijani army stationed in the indicated directions returned fire.

The command of the Russian peacekeeping contingent and the Joint Russian-Turkish Monitoring Center were immediately informed about the incident.

Presently, the situation in these districts is stable and is fully controlled by the Azerbaijani units.
