Samir Sharifov about Azerbaijan's debt situation

Most countries have accumulated excess debt due to the coronavirus pandemic, Minister of Finance Samir Sharifov said at todaychr("39")s joint session of the Milli Majlis committees.

"We are in quite a stable debt situation. We need to reduce our foreign public debt," he said.

The minister noted that domestic debt is a factor that positively impacts the development of domestic financial markets.
