Lebanese citizen fighting against Azerbaijan sentenced for 20 years

A verdict to the Lebanese citizen Viken Eulcekcian, accused of terrorist activities against Azerbaijan, has been presented at the Yasamal District Court in Baku.

The court made decision to imprison Eulcekcian for 20 years.

He will serve 5 years in prison and the rest term in a maximum security correctional facility.

Eulcekcian was earlier brought to the investigation on charges of terrorist activities against the citizens of Azerbaijan as part of the Armed Forces of Armenia during the second Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh war.
