An election show continues in Armenia

As we know  a manipulation was made to assign early elections In Armenia.

On Monday, April 3 th, the Armenian parliament tried to elect a new Prime Minister of the country. True, it was a pure formality - political movements agreed in advance that the only candidate is now Nikol pashinyan.  The election of   Nikol Pashinyan  as head of government should not gain enough votes in this stage.  Such a procedure is necessary for the appointment of early parliamentary elections, after which Mr. Pashinyan plans to return to the former post already seriously, having received the support of voters. The same time he did not lose a time in vain, he used the parliamentary stand for agitation for himself, discredit the opposition.

During last session  the Armenian parliament has occurred predictable and staged, but at the same time the necessary event is the first attempt to elect a new premiere after the resignation of Nikol Pashinyan. The candidate was only one - Mr. Pashinyan himself, who, despite the sufficient number of his supporters in Parliament, did not win, because these were political agreements between supporter and opposition of powers.

After Nikol Pashinyan resigned and received his office a "Acting premiere" , the Parliament must try to appoint a new head of the government twice, after which, according to the Constitution, early parliamentary elections are appointed in the country. As expexted, Armenian parliamentarians  failed the first vote and, with almost no doubt, they will fail the following, which will be held on May 10th. A simpler path to the implementation  of early elections, the Armenian constitution does not provide.

Voting results looked very bizarre, too.

75 deputies pressed the "refrain" button, three voted against and only one - for. It is noteworthy that almost all votes were from the ruling My step block. Because one opposition faction, "Prosperous Armenia", at all boycotted the meeting, and the other - "Enlightened Armenia" - simply did not vote.

Earlier in opposition circles, the idea was discussed that one of these factions could still put forward his candidate so that if not to break the plans of Nikola Pashinyan, then at least to attract attention. However, at least  intodaychr("39")s voting they  did not perform it. As Nicol Pashinyan himself warned them before the vote, if they give candidate exep Pashinyan    The My step faction will simply choose a new premiere, that is, him.

Despite the formality of the voting, in his  speech from the parliamentary tribune  Pashinyan tried to gain fully benefit for himself. He once again criticized the previous leadership of the country - the ex-Presidents and main leaders of Karabakh clan  Serzh Sargsyan and Robert  Kocharyan, actually laying guilty for them for defeating in the war in Nagorno-Karabakh. "The logic and content of the conflict settlement negotiations have changed not with my coming to power, meantime of Serge Sargsyan-Kochatyan  and in the period from the fall of 2015 to winter 2016, for which the April war followed," said Prime Minister. According to him, "there are many documents confirming this."
