Global COVID-19 cases surpass 2.5 million

So far, the infection claimed 171,504 lives globally, while 658,069 people recovered from the virus.
Most cases are in the US (792,938), Spain (204,178), and Italy (181 228).
So far, Turkey confirmed 90,980 cases and 2,140 deaths.
In neighboring Iran, 84,82 people have been diagnosed with the coronavirus. As many as 5,297 people have lost their lives to the virus in this country.
Azerbaijan has 1,436 confirmed cases as of April 20. 19 people died so far.
The novel coronavirus (COVID-19) emerged in late 2019 in China's Hubei province, and the virus has spread to 210 countries and territories since then.
On February 11, the WHO officially named the 2019 novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) as COVID-19, and on March 11, declared it a pandemic.
