Turkey, Russia united in fight against terrorism -Erdogan

Turkey and Russia have a unified position in the fight against terrorism, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said before his visit to Russia, Olaylar reports via Turkish media.

Erdogan noted that Ankara and Moscow also support Syria's territorial integrity.

The Turkish president said that the joint efforts by Ankara and Moscow will have effect in the fight against terrorism.

Erdogan noted that Operation Peace Spring is directed against terrorists in northern Syria, and not against any ethnic groups.

"Unfortunately, a propaganda campaign is being carried out to denigrate the Operation Peace Spring," the Turkish president added. "Some Western media distort the purpose of the military operation using photos and videos taken during military conflicts in other countries."
