He demıse of the seventh king of Malaysia 

The Malaysian Embassy in Baku (situated at bldg. 1, lane 2, Jeyhun Hajibeyli St, Narimanov District) opened a book of condolences on the demise of His Royal Highness Paduka Ayahanda Sultan Ahmad Shah Al-Musta'in Billah ibni Al Marhum Sultan Abu Bakar Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mu'adzam Shah, the seventh Yang Di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia (King of Malaysia / Head of State). His Royal Highness Sultan Ahmad Shah is father to the current King of Malaysia.

His Royal Highness Sultan Ahmad Shah is father to the current King of Malaysia.

His Royal Highness Sultan Ahmad Shah died at the age of 88 on 22 May 2019 at the National Heart Institute in Kuala Lumpur, and was laid to rest at the Royal Mausoleum in Pahang State after afternoon prayer on 23 May 2019. Pahang has declared 40 days of mourning for the public and the mourning period for the royal family is 100 days.
