Women's social entrepreneurship receives state support in Azerbaijan - deputy minister

The development of entrepreneurship in Azerbaijan is one of the priorities of state economic policy, and, in particular, women's social entrepreneurship receives a lot of support in the country, Azerbaijan's Deputy Economy Minister Niyazi Safarov said at an event dedicated to women's social entrepreneurship in Baku, Olaylar reports.

He noted that as the economic development of Azerbaijan is taking place, opportunities open up for the development of new directions in the field of entrepreneurship, in particular, women's social entrepreneurship.

"The diversification of the economy, the development of the non-oil sector and the building up of export potential are the main directions of the socio-economic strategy of the state," Safarov added.
