Particularly dangerous terrorist eliminated in Turkish province

A particularly dangerous terrorist was eliminated during an operation conducted by the Turkish Armed Forces against the militants of the Kurdistan Workerschr("39") Party (PKK) in the Turkeychr("39")s Diyarbakir province, Trend reports via the countrychr("39")s media Jan. 15.

Reports noted that the eliminated Shiyar Deniz participated in planning of terrorist attacks and attacks on Turkish military units.

Two more PKK terrorists were also eliminated.

The conflict between Turkey and PKK, which demands the creation of an independent Kurdish state, has lasted more than 35 years, claiming more than 40,000 lives. PKK is recognized as a terrorist organization by the UN and the EU.
