Turkish people demand early elections - Erdogan
27 Aprel 2018 14:33 EnTurkish people demand early parliamentary and presidential elections in the country, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said, Turkish media reported on April 27.
Erdogan further noted that interests of the people are of utmost importance for him.
The head of state said that Turkey will become even stronger country after the elections.
Eleven political parties will participate in the parliamentary and presidential elections to be held in Turkey on June 24.
In the parliamentary election held in Turkey on Nov. 1, 2015, the Justice and Development Party (AKP) garnered 49.41 percent of the votes, the Peoplechr("39")s Republican Party (CHP) - 25.38 percent, the National Movement Party (MHP) - 11.93 percent, and the Democratic Peoplechr("39")s Party (HDP) - 10.7 percent.
