US understands Turkey’s concern over situation in Syria - Rex Tillerson

The US understands Turkey's concern over the situation in Syria, US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson said in Ankara during a joint press conference with Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu, Turkish media reported Feb. 16.

Washington always stated that the US provides limited support to the Kurdish People's Protection Units (YPG), he noted.

The US cherishes relations with Ankara, Tillerson said.
