Azerbaijan's Taxes Ministry to study use of blockchain technology

The Azerbaijani Taxes Ministry will study application of approaches based on the t blockchain technology, Azerbaijani Minister of Taxes Mikayil Jabbarov said.

Jabbarov made the remarks at the conference "Taxes: Transparency: Development" in Baku Feb. 13.

He said that this will help organize the work of tax authorities at a higher level.

Jabbarov noted that the service system of the Taxes Ministry should be improved in order to meet the requirements and expectations of taxpayers.
