Lavrov: Difficulties in Russia-US relations don’t affect co-op on Karabakh conflict solution

Despite the fact that there are difficulties in relations between Russia and the United States, this does not affect the cooperation in the settlement of the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, said Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov addressing a meeting at the ADA University in Baku Nov. 20.

He noted that Russia, the United States and France have a common position on this issue.

The foreign minister expressed hope that the Geneva meeting between the presidents of Azerbaijan and Armenia will positively affect the process of the conflict's settlement.
