Atambayev refused to meet with Putin

Kyrgyzstani President Almazbek Atambayev will not present at the meeting of the CIS Heads of State in Sochi.The cancellation of the visit is related to the fact that some politicians are preparing for mass gatherings on the presidential elections day.Atambayev has decided to postpone his visit to control the security of the country.According to the statement some politicians on mass preparations on the presidential elections, taking a financial support from abroad." Atambayevchr("39")s visit to Sochi was scheduled for October 10-11. During the visit, the President was expected to meet with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin. In this case, Kyrgyz delegation to Sochi will be headed by Prime Minister Sapar Isakov. The next presidential election in Kyrgyzstan will be held on November 19, 2017.
