The World Community should interested in challenge against corruption

Corruption is the main problem of modern society. In spite of challenges led by authorities,the scale of corruption increasing day by day. Unfortunately, the numbers of disclosed corruptions are not reflect the reality.All the rights of persons who provide information about the corruption is protected by Azerbaijani state."In 2016, there are a lot of works was done to eliminate corruption cases in Azerbaijan," said the chairman of "Support to Police" Society Community Shamsaddin Aliyev.These large-scale reforms have created new perspectives and opportunities for the country.In spite of current global economy crisis, the non-oil industry have been developed,according to the 2016 reports.The measures operated by society community institutions were also gave its beenefit.According to the Headquarters for Combating Corruption in the Prosecutor Generalchr("39")s Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2016, six individuals were arrested during the crime,32 criminal cases have been filed by the operational staff of the headquarters, and 24 individuals have been detained in the search of corruption crimes as a result of conducted operational search activities. During the reporting period, the investigation of 201 criminal cases on 313 officials on 480 criminal cases was completed and forwarded to relevant courts for consideration.33 million 249 manats or 16.6% of the damage amounting to 202 million 629 manats was stolen, and 78 million 283 manats were imposed on property. More than 220 officials have been prosecuted in criminal investigations. 110 of them were

fraudulent in abuse of power, 34 were expelled from office, 10 were bribed, 14 were bribed.
