Elmar Mamadyarov has received newly appointed Greek envoy

Azerbaijani FM Elmar Mammadyarov has received newly appointed Ambassador of Greece Nikolaos Kanellos, Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry said today in a message.

Ambassador Kanellos presented a copy of his credentials to Foreign Minister Mammadyarov. The minister congratulated Ambassador Kanellos on his appointment and wished him every success in his future activities.

Ambassador noted that he would spare no efforts to contribute to further enhancement of bilateral relations between the two countries during his diplomatic mission.

During the meeting, views were also exchanged on development of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Greece in energy, transport, tourism, culture and other spheres.
