A member of the Argentine Senate has condemned Armenia’s recent military provocation in Alkhanli village of Azerbaijan’s Fuzulidistrict. In her letter addressed to the Azerbaijani Embassy in Argentina, the head of the Argentina-Friendship Group with Azerbaijan, María Ester Labado, expressed support to the Azerbaijani people and condemned Armenia’s aggressive policy against Azerbaijan, the Foreign Ministry told APA on Wednesday.  

Russia’s Border Service edits info about exercises in occupied Azerbaijani territories

The Border Service of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation has edited the information it released two days ago about Russia and Armenia holding exercises at the border with Iran.  The word “Nagorno-Karabakh” has been removed from the text, APA reported citing news.am.

Statement by commenting the current situation. « I have been informed about the unfortunate news of the deaths of Sahiba Guliyeva (50) and her two-year-old granddaughter Zahra Guliyeva from the Azerbaijani region of Fizuli. This report from yet further civilian victims of the conflict about Nagorno-Karabakh has saddened me deeply. Furthermore, there seem to be even more heavily injured Azerbaijani civilians as victims of a targeted granate attack from the Armenian forces.

In an emotive reconstruction, the carnage of this week’s tragedy near to the Armenian-occupied Azerbaijani region of Nagorno-Karabakh has been brought directly to the steps of the Armenian Embassy in London.  On the evening of 4 July, as much of the world was celebrating American Independence Day, Armenian armed forces illegally located in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan deliberately targeted Azerbaijani civilians in the Fizuli region with heavy mortars and grenade launchers. Sahiba Guliyeva (50) and her two-year-old granddaughter Zahra Guliyeva were killed, and other civilians were severely wounded. Azerbaijani armed forces evacuated the casualties, but could not save the two Guliyevas.

Children who can’t enter lyceums and gymnasiums to be admitted to other schools in Azerbaijan

The admission process in some schools in Azerbaijan is over, the head of the Baku City Education Department, Mahabbat Valiyeva, told APA on Thursday. “Parents preferred their children to study at lyceums and gymnasiums. If they have not chosen to have their children study at regular schools, I understand their subsequent concern. But, unfortunately, this process has been entirely left to society. I think that children who can not be admitted to the school of their choice will be admitted to other schools in the area,” Veliyeva said commenting on public concern as to whether children who fail the exam for the first-grade at lyceums and gymnasiums will be admitted to schools later or not.
